About us

R1 ehf. was founded by Atli Andrésson and Sigurður Blomsterberg in December 2015. They have worked on maintenance, repairs and installations of imaging equipment and related equipment, as well as closely monitoring developments in this sector.

R1 employees have training and decades of experience in most types of imaging devices and related equipment, and we have also specialized in the installation and repair of dental equipment and in computer system management.

    Projects in Iceland are increasing further and have become sustainable, working to reduce the number of foreign projects. Starting with services for dentists and the equipment that comes with them.

    Installation of seven fully equipped X-ray machines across the country.

  • 2025 __________

    Installation of five CT scanners across the country.

  • 2026 __________

    Implementation of a new quality management system that has received ISO 9001:2015 certification. First byplane angioplasty device in Iceland installed.
